Sarajevo
Start your tour in the capital city of Sarajevo. Explore the Old Town (Baščaršija), which is filled with Ottoman-era architecture and narrow, winding streets. Visit the Sebilj Fountain, the Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque, and the Sarajevo City Hall. Take a walk along the Miljacka River, and visit the Sarajevo Tunnel Museum to learn about the city’s wartime history.

Mostar
Travel to the city of Mostar, known for its iconic Old Bridge (Stari Most) and stunning Ottoman architecture. Walk through the Old Town and visit the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, the Karadjoz-bey Mosque, and the Muslibegovic House, a restored 18th-century Ottoman-style house. Take a swim in the turquoise waters of the Neretva River, and watch the famous bridge jumpers leap from the Stari Most.

Blagaj and Pocitelj
Take a day trip to the nearby towns of Blagaj and Pocitelj. In Blagaj, visit the Tekke, a 16th-century Islamic monastery built into a cliff overlooking the Buna River. Take a boat ride on the river, and enjoy lunch at one of the many riverside restaurants. In Pocitelj, explore the medieval fortress and tower, and wander through the narrow streets lined with stone houses.

Jajce and Travnik
Travel north to the towns of Jajce and Travnik. In Jajce, visit the medieval castle and the Pliva Waterfall, which drops 22 meters into a turquoise pool below. In Travnik, explore the Old Town and visit the 15th-century fortress, the Sulejmanija Mosque, and the birthplace of Nobel laureate Ivo Andric.

Una National Park
Spend the day in Una National Park, known for its stunning waterfalls, emerald-green rivers, and untouched wilderness. Take a hike through the park, go rafting on the Una River, or simply relax in one of the many picnic areas.

Sutjeska National Park
Travel to Sutjeska National Park, home to some of the most pristine and untouched wilderness in Europe. Hike to the top of Maglic Mountain, the highest peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or visit the Perućica rainforest, one of the last remaining primeval forests in Europe.

Konjic and Jablanica
On your last day, visit the towns of Konjic and Jablanica. In Konjic, visit the Tito’s Bunker, a massive underground complex built to shelter Yugoslavian leaders in case of a nuclear war. In Jablanica, visit the Battle of Neretva Museum, which commemorates a key battle from World War II.
